Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic, providing exceptional support to both the dental team and patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
Duties

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
Manage patient records using Dentrix software, ensuring accurate documentation of treatments and procedures.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques, infection control practices, and dental terminology is essential.
Familiarity with endodontics surgery is a plus.
Proficiency in using Open Dental or similar dental practice management software is a plus.
Understanding of dental terminology and coding will be beneficial for effective communication within the clinic.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
Schedule:

Monday to Friday
Rotating weekends
