What Youâll Do:As a Dental Assistant at Optum Dental Arts, youâll be an integral part of the team, focusing on the following:
Clinical Support: Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while maintaining patient comfort.
Patient Care: Greet and prepare patients for treatment, providing a warm and welcoming experience to everyone.
X-Ray & Imaging: Take dental X-rays (must be X-ray certified in the state of Florida) and assist in capturing the necessary diagnostic images.
Instrument Sterilization: Ensure all instruments are sterilized, organized, and ready for use, adhering to infection control protocols.
Patient Education: Help educate patients on proper oral care techniques, treatment plans, and post-care instructions.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the dental team to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
Administrative Support: Assist with maintaining patient records and other administrative duties as needed to keep the office organized.
What Weâre Looking For:
Completion of a dental assisting program from an accredited school.
X-ray certification in the state of Florida (preferred).
0-2 years of experience in a dental assistant role (preferred but not required).
A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail and organization.
A strong commitment to patient care and professionalism.
