At Evara Health, we are more than just a healthcare provider; we are a mission-driven, team-based organization. Our professionals come for the purpose and stay for the supportive culture and the strong, community-focused teams. Embark on a career that fulfills more than just professional goals—it transforms lives every day.
Fit with The Organization:

Leadership and Team Coordination: As the Lead Dental Assistant, you will serve as the primary point of contact for Dental Assistants, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care. This role involves leading daily huddles to discuss schedules, address concerns, and identify areas for improvement. You will facilitate the onboarding and training of new Dental Assistants, ensuring they have the necessary skills to succeed, while fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Additionally, you will coordinate with dentists and assist in training dental students and externs from partner programs during their clinical rotations.
Advanced Clinical Support: The Lead Dental Assistant will provide chairside assistance to dentists during a variety of complex dental procedures, including operative, preventive, periodontal, endodontic, prosthetic, and oral surgery. You will maintain a sterile and aseptic clinical environment by adhering to infection control protocols and performing advanced tasks such as fabricating temporary crowns and bridges, applying sealants and topical fluoride, taking impressions, coronal polishing, and removing sutures. This role also includes obtaining diagnostic radiographs and delivering comprehensive oral hygiene education to patients.
Quality Patient Care Coordination: In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless patient care by managing and coordinating appointments, following treatment plans, and addressing patient needs efficiently. You will review and update patient medical histories to ensure accurate and informed dental treatment. Additionally, you will present and explain treatment plans, including financial estimates, to patients and their families to help them understand procedures, requirements, and necessary follow-up care.
Operational Management and Compliance: You will oversee clinic inventory management, ensuring dental supplies and materials are well-stocked and organized. This role includes leading monthly inventory processes, assisting with procurement efforts, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA, HRSA, state, federal, and accreditation agency regulations. You will also participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing clinic operations and patient care.
Mentorship and Training: As a mentor for junior Dental Assistants, you will provide training and development opportunities to ensure adherence to clinic policies and high standards of patient care. You will support the continuous improvement of clinic procedures, aligning them with current healthcare standards.
