Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing four-handed dentistry support.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control standards.
Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently as a dental receptionist when needed.
Support pediatric dentistry practices by creating a welcoming environment for young patients.
Ensure the dental office is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.
Skills
Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques.
Familiarity with medical terminology and dental terminology.
Experience using dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is preferred.
Knowledge of infection control practices in a clinical setting.
Ability to take X-rays safely and effectively.
Strong communication skills to interact with patients of all ages, particularly children in pediatric dentistry settings.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
