Our family-owned dental practice has been in Ames nearly 25 years. We are seeking 2 talented, positive full-time Dental Hygienists.
You'll have the opportunity to work with 4 fun and talented doctors and a support team of over 25 professionals who are smart, driven, upbeat and have excellent patient service skills.

Office location is in an ideal and beautiful central Ames location, the Somerset District. We're in the heart of a residential neighborhood close to gyms, restaurants, bars, shops and healthcare clinics.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional patient care by conducting thorough assessments and maintaining accurate medical records.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient service and streamline clinic operations.
Utilize dental software systems (Dentrix currently) for efficient documentation and patient management.

Qualifications

Valid dental hygiene license and certification.
Proficient in chairside assisting and patient care.
Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical records.
Experience with Dentrix software preferred but not required.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques.
Ability to conduct patient assessments and vital signs monitoring.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
