Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team in a fast-paced dental clinic environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front office operations, ensuring a smooth patient experience, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. This role requires excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes efficiently.
Schedule appointments and confirm patient visits.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Handle phone inquiries, providing information about services and addressing patient concerns.
Verify insurance coverage and handle patient payments.
Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate smooth operations within the clinic.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a receptionist in a dental clinic or medical office is preferred.
Fluency in English and Spanish required.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with patients and staff.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
