Job Description
```Duties```- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals- Conduct routine dental examinations and cleanings- Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions- Develop treatment plans for patients based on their oral health needs- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide comprehensive dental care- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile dental environment- Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records of patient treatments
```Qualifications```- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry- Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, oral diseases, and treatment options- Proficiency in medical coding and documentation for insurance purposes- Familiarity with dental software such as Eaglesoft for patient management- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality

SummaryThe General Dentist position requires a Doctoral degree in Dentistry and a valid Dental License.
