Job OverviewNon-corporate dental office seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Opportunities for advancement and further certification will be available. Coronal polish and sealant certifications are a plus but not required. Recent graduates are welcome to apply!
Responsibilities

Assist dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
Take dental X-rays as prescribed by the dentist.
Maintain accurate dental records and patient information within the dental clinic systems.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the clinic.

Skills

Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including knowledge of general dentistry practices.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry concepts is a plus.
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment.
Experience with X-Ray technology.
Ability to manage medical records effectively within digital systems.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with patients and team members effectively.
