Skills and Expectations
High school or equivalent (Required)
X-Ray Certification (Required)
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
Nitrous Oxide certification, Sealant Certification, and coronal polishing a plus
Additional certification or training is an asset
Ability to learn digital dentistry quickly
Ability to use CEREC is a plus
Knowledge of implant procedures a plus
Knowledge of Open Dental is a plus
About Your Role
Welcome patients into our dental office
Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Take dental radiographs
Take digital impressions, as well as alginate impressions
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Maintain accurate patient records
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
