As a Dental Assistant, you will be integral to the dental care team, providing chairside assistance and ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic. You will utilize your core skills in dental terminology, general dentistry, and aseptic techniques to support the dentist during procedures. This is a full time position Monday - Friday
Pay is dependent on experience.
Qualifications
Proficient in chairside assisting and dental terminology
Knowledgeable in general dentistry and anatomy
Experience with 3D scanners and aseptic techniques
Familiarity with Dentrix
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
Ability to assist in various dental procedures, including prosthodontics and oral surgery
Experience with Sleep apnea studies and appliances is a plus
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during procedures by providing chairside support and managing instruments.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring compliance with aseptic techniques.
Utilize dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Perform basic dental procedures, including taking X-rays and using a 3D scanner.
Document patient information accurately in EMR systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 â 40 per week
