Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, aseptic techniques, and familiarity with various dental procedures.
Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed.
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to aseptic techniques.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage patient records using Dentrix software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, including sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary equipment.
Support various specialties such as endodontics and pediatric dentistry as needed.
Assist in the management of inventory for dental supplies and materials.
Skills
Proficient knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
Experience with aseptic technique in a clinical setting.
Familiarity with X-ray technology and medical imaging practices.
Strong background in dental assisting with experience in a dental clinic environment.
Knowledge of endodontics procedures is preferred.
Experience working with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality patient care.

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
