Duties and Responsibilities
The Dental Front Office Scheduling Associate is responsible for greeting patients warmly as they enter our facility.
Efficiently handling all administrative duties, including answering telephone calls and providing accurate information to inquiries.
Scheduling patient appointments in a way that maximizes clinic efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Maintaining meticulous patient records; updating them as necessary in our database to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
Coordinating patient flow by effectively communicating between departments and ensuring timely services.
Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service, including managing any patient concerns or complaints with professionalism and empathy.
Participate and contribute to team meetings to discuss improvements and updates on clinic protocols.
Upholding the privacy and security of sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Identify areas for improvement within the clinicâs administrative functions and collaborate with the team for better performance.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in the dental profession is PREFERRED.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, team members, and other stakeholders.
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.
Proficiency in or willingness to quickly learn Open Dental Software.
Ability to handle patient information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
Proven record of punctuality and reliability.
Capability to work well both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
