Requirements:

Active dental hygiene license in the state of Ohio. Current BLS certification. License to administer dental anesthetics.
Natural capacity to “self-start” with a high degree of organization.
Great attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Genuine love of people and “willing to help” attitude.

Daily Duties:

Independently care for scheduled hygiene patients (prophylactic cleanings, sealant and fluoride placement, and periodontal treatment) with administrative support.
Obtain patient diagnostics including x-rays, probing depths, and digital photography.
Maintain accurate patient charting.
Engage patients in high-level educational conversations.
Partner with patients and Dr. Mead to achieve patient health goals.
Manage patient relationships to a high level of customer satisfaction.
Contribute to a working atmosphere that results in strong cooperation, efficiency, and team work.
Proficiency in Dentrix practice management software and digital x-ray.

Unique details:

Salaried position (guaranteed monthly salary)
No evening, Friday or weekend hours
Team hours are 6:30am-4:00pm; Patient hours are 7:00am-3:00pm
Team morning huddle each day to prepare for patients
