Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dentist in providing high-quality patient care and ensure the smooth operation of the dental office.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays).
Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality.
Provide patient education on oral health and post-treatment care.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental operatory and reception area.
Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
Handle administrative tasks, including billing and insurance processing.
Qualifications:
Current dental assistant certification or relevant state license.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Familiarity with dental software and office procedures is a plus.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position.
May involve exposure to dental tools, chemicals, and X-ray equipment.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and assist with patient mobility.
