Job SummaryWe are expanding the practice with a brand new office with 13 operatories. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our wonderful and modern dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office.
Duties

Assist the dentist during various procedures, including four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Stay updated on medical terminology and dental terminology to enhance communication with patients and staff.

Qualifications

3 years previous experience as a Dental Assistant is required.
Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques is required.
Familiarity with use of Digital Impressions with Trios and Itero is an advantage.
Knowledge of implant restorations and digital implant impressions is recommended.
Familiarity with dental software applications such as Dentrix is an advantage.
Understanding of medical terminology and infection control practices is essential.
Ability to take X-rays in accordance with state regulations.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for maintaining accurate records and ensuring patient safety.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members in a professional manner.
