Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist or hygienist during a variety of treatment procedures, help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment, and provide excellent patient care.
Duties:- Assist the dentist or hygienist during a variety of treatment procedures- Set up and prepare equipment and instruments- Sterilize instruments according to regulations- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures- Take dental x-rays- Maintain accurate patient records- Schedule patient appointments- Assist with dental billing and coding
Skills:- Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques- Experience with medical records and documentation- Knowledge of prosthodontics procedures- Familiarity with medical imaging systems- Understanding of general dentistry practices- Ability to work with pediatric patients- Strong anatomy knowledge for dental procedures
