Bilingual Dental Assistant Full-Time - Location

We have the job for you! HAPPY SMILES is offering a full-time opportunity as a bilingual Dental Assistant at our HORNLAKE office. We are an upbeat team looking for an individual who has a passion for helping others and wants to make a positive difference in their community.
CERTIFICATIONS: CDA or RDA required, X-RAY certification preferred
EXPERIENCE: Must have Dental Assistant certification
JOB TYPE: Full-time
SCHEDULE: MONDAY-FRIDAY
PAY: Starting at $16.00-$18.00
BONUS PAY: up to $500 additional per month
LANGUAGE: Must be bilingual (English and Spanish)

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties
Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays)
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Take impressions of the patient's teeth (models), extractions, composite fillings, etc...
Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)
Ask about the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulse
Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
