Job Description
Responsibilities:
-Exhibit good communication to work cooperatively with a high performing dental team- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Take and develop dental x-rays using medical imaging software- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Manage and update patient records- Maintain a clean and organized dental operatory- Follow proper infection control protocols, including practicing aseptic technique- Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and recording medical history
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental practice management software- Experience with medical imaging software for taking and developing dental x-rays- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with patients of all ages- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality

Pay: $18.63 - $25.50 per hour
