A brand new, state of the art dental office, opening in December 2025, located in Punta Gorda, FL (41 & Burnt Store Dr) is looking for an Experienced General Dentist! to join our team.
This dental office in Punta Gorda, FL, like each Heartland Dental supported office, is unique to the community and the patients they serve. With support of a practice manager and a highly trained team on site, coupled with a vast network of experts across the nation, youâll be completely connected to all the resources and support of Heartland Dental.

Youâll need to have
DDS/DMD degree, active and unrestricted license in state of Florida
Minimum of 2 years clinical experience as a dentist in a dental office
Clinical knowledge to practice comprehensive dentistry, including diagnosis and treatment of oral health issues
Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients
Ability to become credentialed with dental insurance plans
The position will have access to minimum PHI necessary for performing job-related functions; regular HIPAA training, aligning with the specific role and responsibilities, will be required; and the individual will need to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards.
Itâs a plus if you have
Experience opening a brand new dental office
Strong leadership skills with a open, positive and flexible personality
Clincal experience placing implants and with molar endodontics
Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting and standing
Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year

This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
