Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality oral care under the supervision of the dentist and help patients maintain good oral health in a holistic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct dental cleanings and hygiene periodontal treatment procedures- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
-Perform salivary dignostic tests and record patient's pH.
-Educate patients on their condition and steps to maintain it- Take dental x-rays & some Pano/CBCT- Perform oral cancer screenings- Update and maintain patient dental records- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants when requested- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Skills:
- Proficient in dental periodontal hygiene techniques- Knowledge of anatomy and dental terminology- Familiarity with dental documentation, coding, and records- Ability to take vital signs accurately- Understanding of HIPAA regulations in a dental office
