Job Description
Responsibilities:- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals- Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions- Conduct routine dental examinations and cleanings- Develop treatment plans for patients based on their oral health needs- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide comprehensive dental care- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical documentation systems
Experience:- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed dentist- Proficient in HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, techniques, and equipment- Experience with patient assessment and diagnosis- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Epic, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft- Specialization or experience in pediatrics is a plus- Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures
