Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions, performing procedures, and educating patients on oral health practices.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to dental extractions, fillings, and root canals.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Provide pediatric dentistry services with a focus on creating a positive experience for young patients.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software.
Fabricate dental appliances and prosthetics as needed.
Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff members to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license and eligibility for practice in the state.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices.
Experience with medical imaging technologies is preferred.
Familiarity with Epic software is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
