Job Description
Job Title: Registered Dental Hygienist Job Locations: Athens and Coldwater - MI
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting good oral health.
Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
Conduct oral cancer screenings
Take and develop dental x-rays
Assist dentists during procedures
Maintain accurate patient records
Follow infection control protocols
Provide pediatric dental care when necessary
Requirements
Proficiency in infection control procedures
Strong patient care skills
Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
Ability to review and maintain accurate documentation
Knowledge of vital signs monitoring
Familiarity with medical coding and Eaglesoft software
Understanding of HIPAA regulations
Competence in four-handed dentistry techniques
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
