A reputable dental practice in Garden City, MI, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join its team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional oral healthcare services and education to patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including reviewing medical histories, performing oral cancer screenings, and evaluating periodontal health.
Preventive Care: Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing to remove plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth.
Radiography: Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Patient Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, dietary habits, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting treatments and observations.

Qualifications:
Licensure: Current state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Michigan.
Education: Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
Experience: Prior experience as a dental hygienist is preferred but not required.
Skills: Proficiency in dental software and electronic medical records; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
