Bright Ridge Dental is seeking a PART-time Dental Hygienist for our privately owned practice. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be a vital member of our dental team, providing essential chairside assisting, patient care, and general dentistry services. Your core skills in dental terminology, patient assessment, and aseptic technique will ensure high-quality care for our patients while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Candidate must be reliable, a team player, maintain a positive attitude, and a great communicator with patients and staff. We are a state of the art, family-oriented practice and treat patients of all ages, including children and geriatrics.
We are a fast-paced office with 4 doctors and 4 hygienists. We provide not only general dentistry, but also expanded services such as sedation dentistry for adults and children, implants, clear aligners, endo, and oral surgery.
Duties include but not limited to:
-Perform screenings, prophylaxis, sealants, fluoride treatments
-Periodontal assessment and scaling and root planing
-Dental x-rays and intra oral photos
-Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
-Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
-Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
-Record and review medical history at each appointment
- Proficient in HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
-Compliant with infection control protocols
-Understanding of dental office operations and workflows
