Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a commitment to providing high-quality dental services. This role involves diagnosing and treating various dental conditions, performing procedures, and educating patients on oral health. The Dentist will work collaboratively with a team of professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive dental care, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
Perform a variety of procedures such as general dentistry.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedure
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments and progress.
Utilize Open Dental software for patient management and record-keeping.
Conduct dental imaging as needed to assess dental health.
Educate patients on preventive care and proper oral hygiene practices.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient practice operations.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Strong skills in patient care with an emphasis on comfort and satisfaction.
Proficiency in aseptic techniques and familiarity with medical imaging technologies.
Experience in pediatrics is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
Knowledge of Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $750.00 - $800.00 per day
