Job Description
We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team and provide quality care to our patients. Initially, we are seeking someone for 1-2 days per week, with the potential to quickly add more days as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental assisting, be knowledgeable about dental procedures and treatments, and be able to assist the dentist in providing patient care. The successful candidate will also be responsible for sterilizing instruments, preparing materials, and maintaining patient records. Proficiency with Dentrix is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for dental treatment.
Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques.
Take and develop dental x-rays.
Keep accurate records of patient visits.
Maintain patient confidentiality.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
