Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team!
In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality dental care and ensuring patient comfort. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional care. The ideal candidate will have experience in general dentistry.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and record vital signs as necessary to monitor patient health.
Assist in the management of patient records using Eaglesoft.
Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Perform patient assessments to identify any oral health issues or concerns.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
Stay updated on dental terminology and best practices in the field.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Skills
Proficiency in Eaglesoft is preferred.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Strong knowledge of infection control procedures and aseptic techniques.
Ability to accurately take vital signs and assess patient health.
Familiarity with dental terminology and practices.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Work Days
Monday 10 am - 6 pm
Tuesday 9 am - 5 pm
Wednesday 9 am - 5 pm
Thursday 9 am - 2 pm
Friday OFF
Saturday 9 am- 2 pm (2 Saturdays a month)
1 hr lunch break for Monday-Wednesday schedule
Pay Rate
$47-$50 per hour pending experience
