Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and promote oral health in a professional and compassionate manner.
Responsibilities:- Conduct oral screenings and assessments to ensure patient health- Perform dental cleanings and assist dentists with procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation- Follow strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques- Utilize medical coding for billing purposes- Assist with medical imaging and X-rays as needed- Implement four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient patient care
Experience:The successful candidate should possess:- Proficiency in dental terminology and general dentistry practices- Knowledge of Dentrix or similar dental software for patient management- Familiarity with medical records management in a dental setting- Strong understanding of infection control procedures- Experience with aseptic technique to prevent cross-contamination
Preferred Skills:- Patient assessment skills to identify oral health issues accurately
