Overview
Dental Hygienist needed for public School Based Dental Program for preventive dental services and sealant. Excellent Sealant skills required.We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort, and promoting oral health education. This role requires a thorough understanding of dental hygiene practices, infection control protocols, and patient managementFinger print and Background checks done with Chicago public school will be beneficial.
Part time , Flexible days, When schools are scheduled .
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments including medical histories and vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth.
Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate medical records and document patient care procedures.
Assist in the management of the dental clinicâs operations, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with dentists in diagnosing and developing treatment plans for patients.
Provide support in pediatric dentistry as needed, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients.
Requirements
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in aseptic techniques and familiarity with dental systems.
Experience in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry is preferred.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
Previous experience in a mobile dental clinic setting is an advantage.
