Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess the oral health of patients.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture images of teeth and gums for diagnostic purposes.
Maintain accurate medical records and document patient care activities in compliance with practice protocols.
Assist dentists during procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency.
Monitor vital signs and review documentation to ensure patient safety and comfort throughout their visit.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans that address each patient's unique needs.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices, tools, and technologies.
Skills
Proficient in medical imaging techniques and the ability to interpret results effectively.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and dental procedures.
Experience with dental assisting is preferred, including familiarity with four-handed dentistry systems.
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to addressing patient concerns.
Ability to perform documentation reviews accurately and maintain organized medical records.
Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $335.07 - $403.52 per day
