Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dentist to join our growing dental practice in Valencia, California. The ideal candidate will specialize in dental implant procedures, delivering high-quality patient care focusing on precision and patient comfort. Key Responsibilities:

Perform implant procedures: Conduct thorough evaluations, treatment planning, surgical placement, and restoration of dental implants.
Patient consultations: Explain dental implant procedures, risks, benefits, and alternatives to patients, ensuring informed consent.
Oral health assessments: Perform comprehensive exams to determine the suitability of dental implants, including medical history and diagnostic testing such as x-rays, CT scans, and 3D imaging.
Treatment planning: Collaborate with patients to create customized treatment plans based on individual needs and preferences.
Follow-up care: Monitor healing and provide follow-up treatment as necessary, ensuring a smooth recovery and successful implant integration.
Team collaboration: Work closely with dental assistants, and hygienists within the practice to deliver seamless patient care.
Patient education: Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care to ensure the longevity of implants.
Maintain accurate records: Document patient history, diagnoses, and treatment plans in compliance with state regulations and practice policies.
Stay current with advancements: Keep up to date with the latest technology, materials, and best practices in implant dentistry to provide cutting-edge care.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited institution.
State of California Dental License (active and in good standing).
Completion of specialized training or certification in implant dentistry.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in implant dentistry or oral surgery, preferred.
Proficiency with implantology techniques, including digital planning and advanced bone grafting procedures.
Strong understanding of oral and maxillofacial anatomy, dental prosthetics, and surgical protocols.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate and build trust with patients.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and manage patient care efficiently.
