Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a sterile environment while adhering to all safety protocols.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following infection control protocols.
Take dental X-rays and perform medical imaging as required.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Support the dental team in various administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing inventory.
Implement aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination in the clinic.
Assist with specialized procedures such as endodontics and prosthodontics when necessary.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with medical coding and documentation practices is a plus.
Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques is essential.
Experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using dental equipment and technology, including X-ray machines.
