Job Description
Biddeford Saco Dental Associates is looking for a friendly, bright, self motivated individual to join our team. As a key member of our practice, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support. This is a full-time position (32 hours), and offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Experience is preferred in this position but we will train the right person. The ideal candidate is someone with a happy, bubbly personality that enjoys working with children! Responsibilities of the position include:
- Assist the doctor during patient examinations and treatments- Take digital dental x-rays (Radiology license required by 90 days)- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical documentation- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols- Handle tasks related to Practice Management software (Eaglesoft)- Provide assistance when needed during prophylactic's treatment
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments- Work closely with pediatric patients, demonstrating patience and care
Requirements for position:
- Prior experience in a dental setting is preferred- Certification as a Dental Assistant is a plus- X-Ray certification is highly desirable (Required by 90 days)- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is advantageous- Knowledge of infection control practices in a clinical setting- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team- High school diploma or equivalent is required
