Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Prefer full-time (Mon-Thurs) but will consider part-time (preferably Wed-Thurs). The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental maintenance cleanings, scaling and root planing, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of oral healthcare practices and a desire to familiarize yourself with the association between oral health and systemic health. It can be very rewarding to watch a patient's life be changed due to improved oral health. We are seeking someone who enjoys working with repeat patients and caring for their needs through a patient-centered plan.
Conduct thorough dental cleanings, examinations, and scaling and root planing as needed for patient.
Utilize medical imaging systems to assist in diagnosing oral health issues.
Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and improve overall office efficiency.
Qualifications
Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with a desire to learn and grow.
Familiarity with medical imaging systems and Eaglesoft software is a plus.
Strong understanding of infection control procedures and HIPAA compliance.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Ability to work well within a team and manage time effectively.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 ââ¬â 32 per week
