Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. We are looking for someone with a great personality that loves working with patients! The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and promote oral health in a professional and compassionate manner.
Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures including scaling, root planning, and prophylaxis- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and disease prevention- Conduct patient screenings, assessments, and charting- Take dental x-rays- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed- Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft software- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
Qualifications:- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program- State licensure as a Dental Hygienist or able to attain an Iowa license- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques- Strong understanding of aseptic technique and infection control practices
