Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our dental practice. This role requires a blend of clerical skills and medical office management experience to ensure smooth scheduling, patient interactions, and administrative tasks.
Duties
Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk area efficiently.
Schedule appointments using dental software such as Eaglesoft or Epic.
Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information as necessary.
Process patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
Assist with medical coding and billing processes as needed.
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure effective communication regarding patient care.
Manage phone calls, emails, and other correspondence in a professional manner.
Ensure the front office area is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar clerical role is preferred.
Familiarity with medical office management practices and procedures.
Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Epic is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing schedules and records.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Knowledge of medical scheduling practices and basic coding principles is an asset.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical office administration is a plus.

Pay: $18.42 - $21.00 per hour
