Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care, ensuring patient comfort, and promoting oral health education. This role requires a strong understanding of soft tissue management procedures, as well as proficiency in infection control practices. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with dentists and assist in various aspects of patient care in a new state-of-the-art dental clinic addition that will be breaking ground in January.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Conduct documentation reviews to ensure accurate patient records and treatment plans.
Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling, patient management, and record keeping.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional care.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of PA.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
Experience with Dentrix or similar dental management systems is preferred.
Familiarity with infection control standards and protocols.
Previous experience in assisting within a dental clinic is advantageous.
A passion for working with patients and an understanding of periodontal practices.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate patients.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour
