Summary:
This is a great position for those who are looking to have summers off. The SAS Dental Assistant position works with our Dental Hygienists in the local school systems during the school year assisting them in placing sealants, suctioning, rinsing, handling etch/sealant, curing sealants. Infection control (cleaning) and data entry are also part of this role.
Qualifications:
· Certificate training program or Associate degree as a dental assistant preferred
· Cultural competency in understanding the needs of diverse populations
· Previous dental-related experience preferred
· Spanish proficiency a plus, but not required
· Mobile dentistry experience a plus, but not required
Responsibilities:
· Assisting the dental hygienist in delivery of services at the mobile sites.
· 4 –handed sealant placement, disinfection process, stocking items, delivery of supplies as needed to the dental hygienist for services all while maintaining the highest level of infection control.
· Helping load, set-up, tear down equipment at mobile sites.
· Other job duties as assigned by dental hygienist at the mobile site or the dental clinic manager.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 – 35 per week
Schedule:

Day shift
Monday to Friday
