Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated, skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside our pediatric dentist and hygienist to provide exceptional care. Responsibilities include assisting chairside, greeting and escorting patients, taking radiographs as directed, preparing and cleaning operatories, and ensuring all materials are stocked. You will also assist with sterilization and equipment maintenance in compliance with OSHA, federal, and state regulations.
Additionally, you may be required to support front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, checking in patients, verifying patient demographics, and documenting treatment plans.
Basic Requirements:
2+ years of dental assistant experience
Radiology certification and RDA License
Coronal Polishing and Pit & Fissure Sealant Certification
Familiarity with dental software (Denticon preferred)
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. with or without accommodation
Preferred Qualifications:
Punctual and reliable with work hours
Proficient in radiograph techniques
Knowledgeable in infection control procedures
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience in treating patients with special healthcare needs, especially those with cognitive and developmental challenges
Ability to work effectively with patients, parents, guardians, and caregivers
Team-oriented, self-motivated, and well-organized with excellent time management skills

Schedule:
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM ââ¬â 4:30 PM
6ââ¬â8-week Friday Oral Surgery support
Licenses/Certifications:
Radiology Certification
RDA License
CPR Certification
