OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise and administrative skills to facilitate efficient patient care and office operations.
Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation, including patient histories and treatment plans.
Perform infection control procedures to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
Operate dental equipment, including 3D scanners and medical imaging devices, as required.
Manage patient appointments and scheduling, acting as a dental receptionist when needed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless workflow and high-quality patient care.
Assist in the management of inventory for dental supplies and materials.

Qualifications

Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with familiarity in using software such as Eaglesoft being a plus.
Knowledge of medical documentation practices is essential, along with understanding infection control protocols.
Proficient in handling medical records and imaging techniques, including 3D scanning.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Certification in dental assisting or related field is desirable.
