Dental Assistant or RDA needed in our dental office

Schedule: Monday to Thursday 9a-6p and Friday 9am-4pm

Job Type: Full-Time 4-5 days per week

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or DA to join our team. Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during patient examinations and dental procedures
• Prepare patients for treatment by explaining procedures and making them comfortable
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Take X-rays, impressions, and digital images
• Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of documentation
• Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
• Assist with inventory management and ordering dental supplies
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
• Educate patients on dental hygiene and preventive care
• Handle administrative tasks as needed (e.g., scheduling, patient intake)

Qualifications:

• Valid RDA certification and licensure in California (Unless DA)
• CPR certification required
• 1 year experience in a dental office preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Knowledge of dentrix dental software and digital radiography is a plus
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus, but not required
