Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in various dental procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient assessment, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate recommendations for care.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist dentists during procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and patient satisfaction.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Provide care to pediatric patients, ensuring a comfortable experience for children.
Skills
Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques.
Knowledge of general dentistry practices and systems.
Familiarity with medical coding related to dental procedures.
Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to oral health.
Excellent patient assessment skills to evaluate oral conditions effectively.
Experience or interest in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.

Pay: $51.44 - $53.48 per hour
