Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering comprehensive care. A strong background in dental terminology and experience with dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is preferred.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Record patient medical histories, including any relevant medical terminology.
Assist in the management of patient records within the dental office software.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff to provide high-quality patient care.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the dental clinic.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and procedures.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist or in a related role is preferred.
Familiarity with dental assisting practices is beneficial.
Proficiency in using dental office software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is an advantage.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry is a plus, especially for those working with younger patients.
Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to patient care.
