```Responsibilities```- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments- Take and develop dental x-rays- Record patient medical history and vital signs- Provide post-operative instructions to patients- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and trimming impressions- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations- Schedule appointments and manage patient records
```Requirements```- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program- X-ray certification- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical imaging techniques- Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
