Job Description

We are a well established, private practice. If you are passionate about taking great care of people, and excited to be part of a fun, supportive, no drama team, this is your dental home. 1 hour per patient, 1 hour per quadrant of Root Planning. If you have a great bedside manner we’d love to meet you.
Our hours are Monday - Thursday, 8 am - 5 pm
Responsibilities

Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible
Sterilize dental instruments properly
Conduct initial mouth screenings and check health history
Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride), 1 hour per patient
Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
Take X-rays using DEXIS
Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer)
Maintain documentation and charting on each patient using DENTRIX
Cavitron and Hand scale

Skills

In-depth knowledge of hygiene
Outstanding communication skills
A patient and friendly personality
Attention to detail
Desire to take care of people
Diploma in Dental Hygiene
Valid license to practice
Laser Certified a plus.
IntraOral Camera skills a plus

We are looking for a full time RDH, Monday-Thursday, who wants to be part of wonderful, cohesive, caring dental team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62.00 - $70.00 per hour
