Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality oral care and hygiene services to our patients while promoting excellent dental health.
Responsibilities- Conduct dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care- Take and develop dental x-rays- Perform oral cancer screenings- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software- Administer local anesthetics under the dentist's supervision- Sterilize dental instruments following aseptic techniques- Provide patient assessments and treatment plans- Work with pediatric patients to ensure their comfort and understanding
Qualifications- Valid Dental Hygienist license- Proficiency in Dentrix software preferred- Knowledge of medical records management- Ability to perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols- Experience in pediatric dental care is a plus- Understanding of CAD/CAM technology for dental procedures- Strong grasp of medical terminology, vital signs, and anatomy
