Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy to maintain patient oral health.
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Document patient treatments and maintain accurate records using our software.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized patient care plans.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Skills
Strong understanding of medical terminology and dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Experience in dental assisting, including knowledge of medical imaging techniques.
Ability to provide exceptional patient care with a compassionate approach.
Familiarity with general dentistry practices and procedures.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to educate patients about their oral health.
