**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and patient education in a professional dental office setting.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform dental hygiene procedures such as cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care techniques
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Assist dentists during procedures as needed
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
**Experience:**
- Experience in general dentistry practices
- Proficiency in using Open Dental or similar dental software
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding
- Ability to perform four-handed dentistry techniques
- Strong understanding of infection control procedures
