Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment. The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional care.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations, assessing patient oral health.
Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate with patients and staff.
Assist in the development of individualized patient care plans based on assessments.
Perform medical imaging procedures as needed, ensuring accurate results.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in general dentistry practices and technologies.
Experience
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or similar role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health and hygiene practices.
Familiarity with dental assisting procedures and systems is advantageous.
Ability to effectively manage patient care while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Excellent communication skills, with a focus on patient education and comfort.
Understanding of medical records management and adherence to HIPAA standards.

Pay: $47.00 - $50.00 per hour
